2.8.10

first time of the year doing an all-nighter at robarts. not too excited but determined to get some work done by doing so.
relationships change with time. i don't talk to people as often as i used to 3 years, 2 years, or even a year ago. but the good friends are the ones that i know i can just talk to after a long time, and we'd still have a good time.
i haven't really touched my violin after i picked up the guitar 4 years ago. it makes me think where i would be in my life if i chose to stick with my original instrument. thats right, i liked music ever since i was a kid. i remember the days when my mom used to give piano lessons and i'd just sit on the couch and listen.
its amazing how music allows you to express yourself so clearly even though you don't have to speak a single word to literally describe your feelings.
God created music so we could use it to worship Him. time for me to pick up my pace

1.13.10

it's been so long since i've last blogged that i don't even know where to start. i guess i'll just jot down whatever is in my mind as of now and head out to class.
the weather has been pretty cold these days and school has already reached its second week since winter break had ended. i love tuesdays when wings are half off but i don't think i'll be able to eat out as much anymore after this week passes by...
school, church, friends and guitar pretty much summed up last year.
i've been reading a book called "What's So Amazing about Grace" by Philip Yancey during my commute downtown. there were lots of points about grace that i just took for granted.
one cool point i still remember from one of Chang's sermon from last year is this: God is our portion, and this "portion" has the whole universe in His hands. profound yet true.
